Only if you want to be used or date an idiot!!!! I am assuming you are the 14 year old and he is 18 . It doesn't matter. The answer remains the same. What do you think an 18 yr old has in common with a 14 year old? The answer should be nothing if he is up to par. He is either really behind when it comes to his IQ or he finds you an easy conquest. There is a reason why there are statutory laws in all states. Any 18 yr old interested in a 14 year old is trying to take advantage of someone. Four years is not alot but wait untill you are 18 and he is 22. Then the difference won't matter as much. Right now the difference is huge!

The age of 18 and the age of 14 are not big of a difference as in age but there is a big difference in what a 14 year old female is looking for appose to what a 18 year old male is looking for. I am not trying to sound like a mother but I am only 19 and when I was 14 my boyfriend was 18 and I felt like he was more mature and he new more and for me to be on his level i had to do things a 14 year old should not be doing.Instead I should have been out with girlfriends. Wait until you are 20 and he is 24 that way you know what you want and you know your worth as a woman.

14 is to young to be thinking about going out with an 18 year old. Give it some time. Find someone your own age. Focus on school. And trust me all those things will be there when your all grown up... Good Luck

you mean besides it being illeagle in most of the US?
besides the fact that he's been driving for 2 years and you have been in a bra for 2 years?
besides the fact that he's out of HIGH SCHOOL and you are just starting JUNIOR HIGH?
besides the fact that most of his friends (if he has any) should be going to COLLAGE?
besides the fact that if he's like most males started having sex when you were 11?
you are looking to have fun. and be appreciated by someone older.
he is looking for sex.
you are looking for someone to hang out with and have a picnic with in the park
he is looking for sex.
you are looking for someone you can show to your friends and say "see... I'm cool"
he is looking for sex.
finally the real best answer is... ask your folks.. what do they say? I'll bet after you either pick them up off the floor or scrape them from the ceiling they will tell you how they feel. Listen to them. THEY love you and THEY care about you and THEY want the best for you - he on the other hand is ONLY looking for sex.

I dated my bosses daugter when she was 14 and I had just turned 17, but made sure we wasnt alone and we had a agreement we wouldnt ever do any thing sexulal till she was 16, but it didnt last long enough to find out if our love would stand the test of time, so date but no hanky panky, its illieagle

Been there done that. It is not right. I wish I would have listened when people told me it was bad. I know you like to think you are grown, but let me tell you, you are not. You are just a child still so impessionable and you will end up being pressured into places and situations you don't want or need to be in. Please trust me!

It may just be a number, but if caught it could get him another number and that is a prison ID number. 14 will get him 25.

Yes it is bad. There are serious legal consequenses involved if things get out of hand even a little. If you like him, wait till you are 15. If not, find someone else.
