I absolutely despise her, not only is she a selfish person, she is a horrible mother in every regard. I do not like her and everything about her irritates me now. I'm scared this will cause problems between my fiance and I. Like today, my fiance is at home all day during the day...her selfish *** sees that he is on the phone, yet she continues to talk and ask him questions(CAN YOU WAIT? I'M CALLING HIM ON MY BREAK!!!) Stupid questions that can wait or that if they were so important she should have asked already. Then, he goes to his room and she knocks on the door and is talking through the door. IF HE WANTED TO TALK TO YOU, HE WOULD OPEN UP THE DOOR AND HAVE A REAL CONVERSATION! I'm at work with a few to spare...you at home all day to talk to him..damn.... She's so rude and selfish(for many other reasons). What do I do?! I can be really nice and get along, but I do not want to be any where near her.

just reemember bad or good right or wrong she is still his mother and you should find a way to be well mannered around her and keep you thoughts of her to your self do you know how that makes him fill he loves her and you better find a way too you are about to be related to one another and you know whatr tehy say you cant choose your family you do the best to keep peaces

You have a major problem. He is her son. That will only create tension in the future, especially if she is so demanding and aggressive. You must get this clear between you and your man, very clear, or you need to think about your future. Sorry to be so blunt, but I don't want you walking into something you will later regret, big time.

Yuck. Luckily for me my husband has hardly a relationship with his mother. He sses her once a year at christmas out of duty and after meeting her I knnow why they aren't close. She is a bi*** with a capital B. Maybe it will get better once he moves out. Til then try and do as much as possible outside of the house and nowhere near her.

If he's a momma's boy you are in trouble! Luckily my mother n law and I get along well so...Good luck with that. You might see if he plans on moving out first....Then take it from there.

When you marry someone you marry their family as well.
If its bad now.. think of what it will be in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years..
think if what the constant stress will do to your husband.
think of what it will do to your marriage.
for this to work you really need to resolve this BEFORE you are married. If you don't.. it will be just a matter of time before you are divorced.

even though you cannot stand her, treat her like your own mother and be nice, suck up your haterid for him, but be sure not to let her disrespect you.
