I have a court hearing on Monday and I'm really nervous, I don't have a lawyer(pro-se), it's a divorce and it's an uncontested divorce and when I get nervous I can't hardly talk, I feel like butterflies in my tummy and thats now imagine when it's the day I get even worst.
What do you do when you get very nervous?

Deep breathing and focusing on another object in the room. I would bring a friend along just for support and to remind me everything will work out for the best.

Meditate and or exercise. Women have always been advised to have a lawyer in all cases, even if things seem fine between both parties. Remember you need someone to represent your side and you are divorcing for a reason. Surround yourself with positive things and people. Take a deep breath and try to relax. I still think your own lawyer can help especially since you mentioned being nervous. Reconsider if you can afford it. The money is worth your peace of mind. Legalities are serious and so is your life. By doing this you may be able to relax more. Good Luck!!
