All you have to do would be to divide 3 into 10 and you would get 0.3...therefore the fraction is 3/10.

30 over 100 because 0.3 is equal to 30. So therefore it would be 30 over 100. Then it could be reduced to 3 over 10.
30/100 or 3/10 depending on if it has to be reduced.

If it's 0.3 and just 0.3 without approximating, then it's 3/10.
If it's 0.3 infinite, then it's 1/3

anything to the right of the decimal point starts with the 10ths, then 100ths, thousandths, etc as opposed to the left of the decimal where of course going to the left is is ones or units, tens, hundreds, thousands etc.
so this is 0 ones and 3 tenths or more simply put 3/10.
