I couldn't see the equation editor for math homework so I clicked "can't see equation editor?" It said to make sure Java and Java Script are enabled and then I should be able to see it. They are and I still can't. Computer said Windows blocked application because it can't verify publisher. It also asked me if I trust it, clicked yes, signed out and signed back in and it still isn't there, what now?

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Security tab and set the slide to Medium.>Privacy tab and set slide to Medium and then click the Sites button. Add the URL for this site to allow cookies and click Allow>OK>OK.

All downloaded software from a legal standpoint should have what is known as "valid digital signature", of the publisher that is current and upto date.

If there is not one, Microsoft is trying to protect your pc and your privacy. That is why the program will be blocked until you say yes or no to the installation.

If you know and trust the publisher then perhaps you will want to take the chance. Actually I don't see how any one can trust a publisher who does not show the name of who they are in the program, or fails to keep a valid digital signature.

Usually these people with software hide behind a proxy and they are not to be trusted as they love to install, embedded spyware, adware, trojans in the program.

The risk of an unknown publisher in my opinion is very great, because all of your personal files and private life can be stolen.

If you need "Java Script", download it direct from Sunjava. I am not sure of the URL, try www.sunjava.com If this does not work, use your search engine for Sun Java and download only direct from them.
