"Wolf" like in English, but you pronounce the "w" in German like "v" in English, and the "o" and the "l" are also pronounced a bit different in German.

Wolf (with the initial cap), but it would be pronounced as a V.

I checked babelfish.altavista.com and got wolf...dog is apparently 'hund' if that helps.
