Not BS:
In urban settings in 20th century America, minority groups such as Blacks and Latinos were often swimming or flirting with poverty. Of these settings, Harlem is very prominent, and probably the one biggest influence. Due to anything from culture to religion to a pure lack of money for contraceptives, many families had lots of children. In an effort to save money, the clothes of elder siblings were handed down to the younger children. As can be expected, not all of the clothes fit perfectly when handed down. Clothes were almost always bigger rather than smaller when they exchanged hands. What resulted was a bunch of kids walking around with baggy shirts, low trousers, and exposed backsides. As time went on, necessity transformed into fashion.
Today, so many of those kids that grew up in urban communities are still wearing baggy clothes and wearing their pants low. Eventually, other kids started wearing their clothes like that in an effort to further assimilate their youth culture with that of hip-hop. Moral of the story: your kid thinks he's either a rapper, a skater, or a rock star. shazam.

Exactly, what's up with that? Do these people think it's hot? Obviously! Gross? You betcha=P
And mind you it's NOT just the youths of today, I once caught a lady in a business suit sitting at a lunch meeting with her thong peeking out of her waistband. A good thing she had on a decent pair of underwear, lol.
Seriously, I'm sure it's a huge turn-on for red hot-blooded males everywhere but really it's an eye sore. What's more worse than a thong? Their butt crack shows ~~> now that's gross.

Someone I once worked with said that originated in prison. An inmate would wear his pants low to express that he was available. Maybe that's why they all have to wear 1 piece now. Don't really know why our kids are doing this for sure. Mine does it too. It's the environment I guess. Luckily his school switched to uniform and I don't see it as much.

Unfortunately, today's women are growing up showing that they too can be just as disgusting as the redneck plumbers when it comes to showing what doesn't need to be shown.
And all this stuff is thought up in New York and London "fashion houses" by a handful of queers who only design clothes for the waif and the waif look. Real men and real women need more cloth to cover what adds not to the scenery.
Then, our fave stores stock nothing but this junk so parents are really caught up because they really can't find anyone who carries the decent looking clothes.
Makes me want to throw up my hands.....
PS. The only cleavage I appreciate without question is that which lies between the breasts of a lovely woman.

Well I'm a teenager, so let me explain. First of all, I don't wear drop-downs (the term used for when you show your backside). Secondly, when a white person does it, it's considered gay (I don't know why), but when a black person does it, it's fine. It's just an old, black ghetto trend, even though many white boys also did the same thing at first (until they would be labelled as gay), but it became out of fashion in August. Disgusting, isn't it?

This trend was initially started by gang members in prisons as a show of disrespect towards others. Eventually, as the prisoners were released, it moved on to intercity gangs where it eventually spread to hip hop and then our own teens.
It is a terrible trend that spawns from disrespect of one another. Some cities are adopting/adapting lewdness laws and/or indecent exposure laws to fight this trend. It's time for this trend to die.

Well it was the fashion for awhile. All the clothing makers were making short tops and pants that fit real low. Hence you can see their backsides. But if you notice, times they are a changin, tops are made longer now and pants are higher. No more backsides!

I totally agree. I saw a lad working in a clothes shop dressed with his seat literally hanging out out of his jeans. These jeans must have been hanging on for grim death,
Just wish someone would "trip" up near these lads and drag the jeans round their ankles....haha
