because he had all those races as his sons & daughters, then there's also intermarriage between the races.

The story of Noah's Ark is a regional legend that found its way into the Old Testament one day when the Rabbis had more papyrus on hand than they knew what to do with. The oldest known version of the story is found in the Babylonian legend called The Epic of Gilgamesh. It turns up in several other ancient texts that pre-date the Old Testament accounts by many hundreds of years.
So the question becomes a matter of myth, rather than anthropology. We are clearly not the descendents of Noah, but of various kinds of proto-humans in various parts of the world.

Good question. The answer is: we're not all descended from Noah. Others have said most of what I want to say about this in their previous posts.
Mitochondrial DNA points to a possible "African Eve" who lived in east Africa about 150,000 years ago. A common misconception is that Mitochondrial Eve was the only living female of her time — she was not. Many women alive at the same time as Mitochondrial Eve have descendants alive today. However, only Mitochondrial Eve produced an unbroken line of female descendents carrying her mitochondrial DNA that persists today. Mitochondrial Eve is the most recent common matrilineal (female-lineage) ancestor, not the most recent common ancestor of all humans.

why is everyone saying that that noah isnt true, researchers have said that the earth was under water. i live in the desert and you can definantly tell that it was underwater at some point. what about the story of adam and eves sons' who were fighting? God turned cane black. the people who wrote the bible had never seen black people so how would they be able to write such things about them? alot of things in the bible are crazy there is stuff in there that links the 9/11 attack now how would they know about that?! they were messengers of God. IF they were just moral stories, they're not too bad to live by....

well I suppose one would have to believe in creation and flood theory to believe that. the tower of babel is generally considered the divergence point by those who believe this, with the exception of Noah's son ham (which some religions use as an excuse for bigotry along with the story of cane and able both of which are seriously flawed logic). the answer however lies in the theories of evolution. genetic drift and survival of the fittest. certain traits gave certain individuals an advantage in the geographical location that they settled in, as a result they breed more and passed on their genes. these traits are not necessarily physical, mental traits are passed on with the physical.

Evolution is the answer. All people originated from Africa but mutations helped us adapt to the different environments. Genetic researchers and archaeologist believe the Bushman in South Africa may be the closest genetically to the original person whose offspring populated the earth. So everyone outside of their tribe is basically a mutant.
