Over a hundred 1984 Topps cards for Elway have sold on eBay since the beginning of September, and it looks like prices have ranged between $15-40.

Somebody paid $140 for a stated mint version of the card (Item # 190028651507)

That should give you a ballpark estimate of value.

This will give you a realistic estimate on what bargain hunters will pay for a card. This will let you compare the condition of your card against others available in the market.

Football cards are not very special, even for a prominent player.
