Traveling Wilburys (1988)
Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, George Harrison (The Beatles) Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra)

vs.

Fantômas
Mike Patton (Faith No More); Buzz Osborne (The Melvins), Dave Lombardo (Slayer) and Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle)

Apologies for the brevity with respect to these two.

Wilburys are legendary, perhaps the greatest collection of raw talent on this list.

Fantômas have also been described as legendary earlier in this matchup, but that may stretch the point.

But, as I am sure people may have noticed, this round of match-ups pits the "classic" supergroups against some of the newer, up and coming supergroups.

The Wilburys might lose since they're missing two members and the rest are a little too old to fight. They might have to replace Orbison and Harrison with Paul McCartney and Pete Townshend, and even then the Wilburys would be too busy fighting each other to get into it with the Fantômas.

Wilburys.

Not sure who called Fantomas legendary. Patton is a nut job, and not in a musical genius kind of way.

I'm just impressed that you know of the Fantomas. I dig Mike Patton, so I'll go with them, of course. :)
