Respect- I need to feel that person knows how to respect others... whether it be adults, or peers, or young kids, or strangers.
Etiquette- Along w/ respect, a person will have a certain amount of etiquette, know how to be polite, or at least not step on others' toes for no reason. i'm not talking about not standing up for urself, but just knowing when and how to act in situations.
Generosity- Know how to take care of others, and help others, even if there's not much to gain. not just monetarily wise; more like being a good shoulder to cry on, offering to help out, etc etc.
Accountability- i have to know that i can count on this person, and their actions and words have to match. if they say they'll be there, and they bail, that's not very reliable. of course there might be a problem that comes up, but i'm flexible; but if i dont' feel that person is trustworthy it's kinda out the window.
Good, Positive attitude- i love seeing and meeting people who are Healthy, Happy and Positive. they enjoy life, and enjoy doing things that are helpful for themselves as well as the community. those neighbors and friends who u just know, no matter what happens, they will try to do the best for everyone! we all need caring, nurturing environments, and anyone can flourish in a Positive, Healthy one. :)

if the person can keep a secret. and never tell it.. to be truthful always . honest .. I chose these because they are very important in a relationship and in life..

of course, the person should be someone who is trustworthy, not a loud mouth & someone i'm comfortable with sharing my secrets or sharing things with..Ã
