How do you feel about it

I'm ok with it I just wish that they would make it so that you can't win with one feild goal

like you have to win by at least 4 pts (like in street basketball you have to win by 2)

p.s. I hat FGs

I'd like them to change it so that any time one team scores, the other team gets *one* more possession. That would make the first team much more reluctant to settle for a field goal, and it would eliminate the advantage of winning the overtime coin toss.

Easy solution. Make them play the full 15 minutes, no matter how many scores there are. If the game's still tied after that, it's a tie during the regular season; in the playoffs, then it goes to sudden death.

Right now, whoever wins the coin flip has too much of an advantage. And the college rule is not much better than the NFL.

Why not just adopt the college system but instead of getting the ball at the 25 you just kick it off.No clock and both teams get a shot.Eliminate the possibility of atie.I mean come on how lame would atie be in a football game.

How about this? 15 minute OT. Both teams get a chance at offense. If both kick field goals, then both teams again get a chance at offense again, but have to go for a TD. If both teams score 7, it's a tie. If neither team scores, they go again, TD's only, until one team gets a TD or time runs out.

The college system is much better, the NFL system puts too much importance on the coin toss, both teams should have the opportunity to score

yeah, that sudden death crap sucks. odds are against whoever loses the coin toss. I would like it to be more like whoever makes 10 points first wins, but then that could take forever. i say whoever were to score first, let the other team try to score and if they don't then they lose. but i think either way it would take too much time. would be nice though if they changed that little rule.

i agree - i think they should switch to the college system, but back it up to the 40 yard line so a field goal isnt a given. i like it better when each team has equal chance

Its perfect the way it is. Don't change it.
Thats why teams have a DEFENSE. Stop the other team and get the ball back and you can win, plain and simple.
The NFL is the real deal. Lets not look pattern our sports at inferior sports or leagues, please.

I think both teams should have a chance to have the ball and if it ends in a tie so be it!

It does seem unfair, but it is called sudden death. I think it should stay like it is because I like the name, a good strong football term.
