IE has a "Content" tab in the options menu. You can set it there to restrict certain sites or those rated as "adult". The problem is, many porn sites don't register with the ratings systems and therefore that function won't catch all of them. But, it will catch most of them since the porn industry doesn't want to be regulated by the government so they are taking steps to regulate themselves.

Go to Tools > Content > Content Advisor > Enable, then select the content you want to edit (Language, nudity, sex, violence) then use the slider bar right below it to the level of filtering you want. You can also go to the General tab from there and check the "Supervisor can type a password to allow users to view restricted content" then click on "Create Password" and you are done. Click Apply > Okay then close the browser. When you restart IE the new settings will have taken effect.

Is it really worth getting software to monitor something like that? Who ever is looking at it will just find other ways. Besides, maybe you should consider talking to whomever you are concerned is doing this about sex and the things he/she is looking at or looking for. The porn industry is a large industry. It's a neccesary evil. We don't like it but it will always exist and I don't think your netnanny is going to stop the person from wanting to see stuff like that. That's how life is. The porn industry makes more a year then every athlete's salary combined! If I were you, I wouldn't wast my time with PC babysitters but maybe find sites that are safe and don't contain viruses.

use net-nany or other softwares that blocks sites based on content. instal a firewal and security sofwtare on you PC that logs all websites URL, and check them to make sure no one is visiting some illicit sites.
