Someone said that nothing moves faster that the speed of Light?

And nothing is moving faster then the speed of light.

The misunderstanding is that the amount of space is also growing (Think of the two galaxies moving away from each other on the surface of the baloon that is also expanding)
Even though the speed of the two galaxies is fixed at Y(MPH) when you facter in the surface area of the baloon expanding on top of that, that makes the two galaxies moving away from eachother at FTL speeds.

One example about the acceleration of the unverse, says that the the universe has to be expanding faster that light because if not all of the lights from all the distant stars would reach earth by now.

the empty space itself is expanding... nothing is moving faster than the speed of light.
