Being a woman in IT, I can tell you that you HAVE to like what your doing or you will grow tired of it easily. IT is an excessivly high demand area and it requires some interest in what you are going to do. There are so many avenues you can go down with a CS degree I'm surprised that you can't find something of interest. I'm a technician for instance. I used to work between 9-14/h a day fixing Computers. Now I'm going into QA, where I may be workign the same hours, but the job is not as physically demanding (hauling around 50-80 lbs printers is not fun). There are IT jobs in the medical field, in the geological field, science, research, music, law...everyehwere!. Think of what you like. Do some research on job search engins. Computers are everywheres now a days, so there is NO limit to where. Good luck!

Probably a technical analyst, but you're not going to get that position until you have several years of programming experience.
A technical analyst in most companies is a seasoned programmer that can review business requirements and do analysis and design of implementing solutions to meet those requirements. The tech analyst then summarizes the analysis into a design document and turns over to a programmer or team of programmers to code the solution per the tech analyst's "blue print".

i dont know but that loser who said there are no jobs outside of nursing, teaching or being a wife is wrong. women can have whatever jobs they choose to have, there are no rules. do some research about the field you studied or talk to your old academic advisor from college. you might have a career center at your school that can help too. don't let people stop you from achieving your goals...especially not dumb men from yahoo! answers.

If you're not interested in the field, why do you want a job in it? Tell you the truth, you're gonna be miserable if you take a job just cause u studied it four years. Do something that excites you.

Get a job in something you are interested in because you will be miserable. Plus it will not be fair to your co-workers.
As for your question, it doesn't matter whether you are a boy or a girl nowadays. Girls do the same jobs as boys do.

I Also agree with the first. Remember its what makes you happy that counts. Unless you need money then get a job in that field.

the best job really depends on preference. i would imagine the position that has the highest money to risk ratio would be to get a J.D. and go into intellectual property or patent law. Its a pretty sure thing that you will get a pretty decent job with a J.D. and a technical background.

There are no good jobs for girls outside of nursing, teaching, or being a good and obedient wife. Stay home, get married, raise a family and you'll have all the interesting things you can handle. Peace.
