If the person is a man, then I would knock his hand
off my shoulder and I would bring up my knee fast and hard. If the person was a woman I would push her hand off my shoulder and step back a few paces.
I would probably walk away quickly. I would feel threaten in either case.

I would feel fear. But then I would have questions: Do I know this person? Does this person have a mental disability? Is this person going to try to hurt me? Should I ask this person if they need help with something? Should I scream?
If I felt that I was in a location that I was safe and the person would be less likely to hurt me then I think I would be able to keep my head a bit more than if I was alone on the street, or something like that. Then I would ask the person if I could be of help in anyway and just go from there.
Also I would probably look around to see who the person is with, if there is anyone at all.
Seriously all of this depends on the situation I am in, if someone is with me then I'll feel less terrified, but if I was alone I would have a hard time controlling the urge to run away as fast as possible while calling the police.

Is he cute? Seriously, is he cute? And where are we? There are...certain places where this would be considered acceptable behavior, and would probably elicit a favorable response from me if he is cute. If it's not one of those places, but the guy is still cute, it might still elicit a favorable response from me. If it were a woman or a child, I suppose I'd ask him or her if I could help her with something. If it were a fiercely ugly person, superficiality would win out and I'd pull away from them pretty quickly. If it were an ordinary looking person, but they were unresponsive, I'd walk away slowly. I'd call for police assistance if I were concerned that the person was in shock or something like that.

if it's the same gender - any age - i would ask if she needs help.

if it's the opposite gender - and it's a senior citizen or a child i would - again - ask if he needs help. (i'd probably think the older man had alzeimers or the youger boy was lost or scared)

if it's the opposite gender and the person looks scary or threatening and i feel my life or safety is in danger, I'd mase him.
I'm a single 25 year old in L.A - i don't play around.

I'd lean over to him and show him my cell phone and show him that i have 911 on speed dial. That if he wants to use my phone to call them on me because if he doesn't get his freakin hands off me he's going to need them.

I would pull away from them and ask them what I can do for them. I don't like people I don't know touching me and invading my space. Makes me really uncomfortable.

Either punch him out immediately and back away quickly and evaulate the threat. Then fight or flee based on the threat evaulation.

If the stranger is a man, I'd punch him in the gut. If it is a woman, I'd move away from her.
