I often dream that I am being chased through a shopping mall. What does this mean? Also, does it matter who is chasing me? What do they mean? Or, does it matter what stores I go into? Or how I finally escape/out-smart them? Do these things mean something?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that (a) I hate shopping, and (b) I rarely ever go to a shopping mall.

I don't have this dream often, but it's one that I always remember when I wake up from it. Each time I dream it, there are different people after me (sometimes I see them, sometimes I don't), and sometimes I have other people with me (usually people I know).

If it makes any difference, sometimes I go into a clothes store and buy a new outfit and walk back into the mall, and that seems to solve the 'they're going to find me' problem. (I know that my goal in the dream is usually to hide from my persuers/outsmart them and get away).

Also, once I've 'escaped', I usually seem more than happy to just wander around the mall, nonchalant, and then I wake up.

If anything, it means that you are trying to get away from something in your life. Each store is a different path. Some paths may lead to a better future, others may not. You have to recognize what you're running from in your life. Fix it and your dream will go away.

Being chased = criticized
Shopping mall = your materialistic world, safety zone

In other words, you may be experiencing some sort of criticism from people. To you, shopping mall may be the safety zone you want to get away from. Your dream may indicate that there is something to do with how you in the shopping mall. You probably are the person who likes to hang around shopping mall a lot. Being escaped from people or outsmart them could mean you do not trust them and to you, your safety zone is what you believe there must be a value. In your case, a shopping mall is your safety zone. No, it doesn't matter who is chasing you or what store. Chasing you is a symbol as well as the stores.

You projected shopping mall subconsciously because you know that is where you can find trust. And you may be very materialistic in this case/dream

Most dreams mean something. Not always what they appear to mean either. Without a few more details, I can't say for sure. However, the best way to analyze your dream is to compare the story of your dream against the story of your life.

Pay particular attention to elements that seem more pronounced. Who is chasing you? Why do you feel they are chasing you? Why the mall? All of the questions you asked as well as these questions may help you to learn what your dream is about.

As far as meaning goes.... Does it mean you're going to be chased through the mall by someone? Probably not, but let us know if it does.

Yeah, you feel like you have no control over your life or parts of your life. At least, that's what I was told when I had all my dreams in which I was being chased and It was quite true then.

Oh geez! Don't believe these guys. There's no solid proof that dreams mean anything. People will say a lot of things. But it is for your benifit not to squeeze your brain on these. Just be yourself!

It means that you have to spend and spend thousands of dollars in new clothing... otherwise the unhappiness will chase you.

Hurry!

It's about people trying to steal your power, and how you're learning to hold onto it.
