When you find someone better, but you will still have a scar.

It sure does!! Speaking from experience; one day you will look around and you won't even think about the person any more. If the relationship has ended, let it go and move on. The moving on is a hard thing to do, but it can be done. Take some time for yourself and focus on you. End all contacts with the person. It's too hard to be friends with someone that you were once lovers/involved with. If you were intimate with the person, you have to stop that as well. A wound can't heal if you are always tampering with it.

Take your time before entering into another relationship though. Never take old hurts into a new relationship. Enough time between anything will take the love away for it. Words of wisdom, love makes time pass but time makes love pass. It takes time and your wounds will heal. Never regret the time that you spent with the person but consider it a learning experience.

Yes, broken hearts are healed. Prayer works best. People say that time heals all wounds, but it is not time. It is the strength that God gave us all to want to overcome such tragedies in our lives.

You will heal and hopefully you will learn. If you don't learn, then you will start the hurting process all over again, and again, etc.

Write down the reasons that the relationship didn't work. And as time goes by and you think of more stuff, write it down. In your next relationship, compare and see if it is headed the same way. If so, break it off--quickly.

We are all attracted to certain types, and unfortunately we are hard-headed and keep going back for the same type.

I have been married 3 times, and in this marriage, I ended up with a man who acts the same as my first husband.

I have learned valuable lessons this time. Through counseling, I have learned that I must tough this one out. Either we will make it or not. If we do, we'll have learned lessons we can teach to others. If we don't, I will know what NOT to look for next time.

A broken heart is one of the most painful feelings in the world. Although right now you may feel like it will never heal, it is only a matter of time. Many people would advice you to try to find some one else, but that does not help, it only makes you feel like you're replacing that person, which makes you remember them even more. All I can say is that time heals all wounds, hang in there and keep your head up!

The heart is a fine instrument, it can be broken many times and still play, of course there is the fact that you might have a little scar, but each of those scars is a reminder of what you have learned about love, about yourself and about others.
You need time to mourn (oh yes, mourning is a natural process that all of us go through each time something ends in our lives) and feel good about yourself again so take it easy, cry when you need to but don't stay at home for hours at a time thinking about how hurt you are.
Think about something you wanted to do but hadn't had the opportunity to do, get back in touch with your friends and family and enjoy them.
Your heart will heal eventually, and you will have learned something. Treasure the good moments and forget the bad.
Hope this helps!

Eventually... but it depends on how it was broke.

By death - grieving is very hard.. it can take a long time.
By betrayal - anger isn't something anyone gives up easily. You will need to work on this.
By ending of a relationship - this is kinda like death except the person is still around so the hurt can continue because you can still see them.

for all broken hearts... there is the same type of grieving process that goes on as if someone had died.-so if you are having problems look up grief counceling online.

No, it's like the Red Hot Chili Peppers "Scar Tissue."

Scar tissue - Dense fibrous connective tissue that forms over a healed wound or cut.

The only good thing about a broken heart is that you learn the lessons from it, and you become a better person, even if you have those scar tissues.

I think you have to allow yourself time. There will be anger, a lot of tears, hope that just maybe things could come together, again for you, more tears, then gradually you will start to let go. Then the emotions will be bitter sweet memories. Time is the key, once you let go you will start to see things through clear eyes, and maybe you will see that it was not meant to be, anyway. Some of us hang on to more of our idea of a relationship than what our relationship really is.
