I have this freind and she always buys what I buy and she wears it the next time I see her. I don't mean she bought a couple things I mean she has bought aLOT of things I have. And then if shes wearing the same shoes as me or the same shirt she says " I like your shirt" :(- I hate that she does that! Is there a way I can be nice but still tell her to stop?

i know you are getting pissed off by the person copying your style. let try to take a look at this issue at a different angle. you dont need to tell her to stop, besides im pretty sure you are stylish and fashionable. shes copying you because you are an ICON! so be proud since people appreciate you the way you dress and besides it does not mean that that person will copy your style will already look like you. the bottom line is always, Does that person has what it takes to be stylish as you are? well you have an awesome way of wearing that but does that person can carry the clothes like you do? i dont think so...so stay fabulous as you are and always keep your style and always be an ICON...you ROCK!

It happened to me before. It's not very unusual that girlfriends would have the same interest on things mostyly clothes or any othere accessories. I think if she really is a friend to you, try recommending her to something else that you probably also like but, be willing to give to her instead. Maybe, she just like your style. One of my friends did the same thing, she bought exactly the same with mine at the same time. I thought she just admired me so much so, it didn't become a big deal. In your situation, I think it would really bug me too. Maybe, just joke around her and ask her, "don't you think we're going to look like twins if we have the same clothes all the time"? If she thinks that it's a great idea... then, just stopp shopping with her.

well u can say something like......... ummm, insert name.......i know thau have acouple or alot of things that i have that are exaclty the same as mine. You also wear the same clothes as me the next time i see u and u say i like your shirt. umm well its really bothering me and iwas wondering if u could tone down the copying of me. Mybe we could work out a schedule or tell wach other when we r going to wear things so we dont wear he same thing. or maybe we could wear the same thing but take the outfit and make it our own by adding different accesories that are different from each other.

Hope this helps:)

That would annoy the crap out of me, so ask her when she got her clothes and if she got them after you then you will know and then go shopping with her and what she buys tell her i really like that but i dont want to buy the same thing, can i borrow it sometime and then tell her that she can borrow your clothes too and she wont end up wearing the smae things on the same day.

What are you afraid of? That things might look better on her? Sounds like you are both fashion drones. Wear something ugly and see if she copies that, or just personalize whatever you wear in ways that look good on you but are hard to copy or won't flatter her.

Go shopping with her, and find some things that will look good on her but not you. Show them to her & say something like, "This would look really great on you, too bad green really isn't my color." Obviously she really admires you and values your approval, so maybe some things you help her select will be just as good as copying you.

You should be flattered, but I can see where that would annoy you. Just tell her. Nicely. Ask her why she has to copy you all the time. That she needs to be her own person.

You should just remember that copying is one of the greatest forms of flattery...but if it really bothers you, you should just tell her flat out that you dont like her copying every single thing you wear!!

Sweetie, yes it may be annoying, but all you can do is take it with a grain of salt. You can look at it like this: A. She thinks of you often & B. She looks up to you and wants to be like you
If you stand back and regroup it can be taken as a compliment.
