I have to say that I was into what happened to the Titanic before the movie came out in fact I did my high school thesis on it. So yes I saw the movie about 7 to 10 times since it came out. Although Jack would have never been allowed to be in with 1st class it was pretty accurate. I guess the dreamer in all of us wants one great love before we die and we see it in Rose and Jack and although they didn't have each other for long like the song says their hearts go on and on. I cried alittle when he died but the ending gets me every time. To think that you can be seprated through space and time and death and then when you pass away to be with the one your soul aches for is something you only dream about and is something that we hope happens after we are gone. I hope that no one ever tops Cameron's sucess not because I like him but because it makes the story that much more important and hopefully the movie won't go into the five dollar bin at walmart.

I cry easily but YES I cried. Nothing gets me going more than unrequited love (Bridges of Madison County for example)
Actually, I saw this film for the first time on a plane when flying back to the USA from England and the really creepy part is that we were flying over icebergs while I was watching TITANIC !!!! Not the most reassuring feeling, I have to tell you.

TITANIC was a work of art, it was an amazing film, and a splendid story. Of course I cried. And I am tough and mean usually, but hell, I would never be ashamed to admit that I cry at some films. Films are my life, and I appreciate everything about them. I don't wanna insult your mates, but they just proved they are a bunch of hypocrites.

Of course I cried, but then I'm a girl and that's what we do!
Sometimes, people have difficulty admitting they like films in certain genres (like a guy liking "chick fliks") and if the film is hugely successful, everyone is talking about it, so they have to admit they like it to more and more people . . . either that or keep lying to everyone.
And, Titanic was a fabulous film . . . it had great effects, romance, nudity, jealousy, great costumes, decent script, poignant music . . . . hey, maybe that's the problem; your mates can't admit to liking any movie that features Celine Dion's music. =-) Good luck finding your answer.

Yes I did and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I cry every time I see it even though I know what's going to happen. But can you believe she kept that diamond all those years just to throw it into the ocean? I could have screamed!

Hey I'll give that one to you that was a good movie! I think the reason they said they hated it because the movie actually moved them, and they were ashamed to say it because there insecure about there masculinity! Real men ain't a shame to say, its a wonderful film. One of my all times favorite. Its consider a classic!

To be honest, I didn't. But I didn't get into it properly when I first watched it. I was the 'tom boy' out of my friend, and I saw it at a slumber party. They all cried, and I was like 'Oh zeus... get over it' but then again, I also really, really hated Leo DeCaprio, so maybe that's why. AI watched it again at about a year ago, and I cried when it was sinking and you saw that little girl being tucked into her bed... but not at the end.
