I take the time to do the things I used to enjoy doing. Stop doing things for everyone else. Taking care of others. Take care of YOU. It's okay to focus on YOU. Look in the mirror. Take a good LLLOOONNNGGG look at yourself in the mirror. Do you like what you see? Why or why not? Have a good cry. Let all the tears out. Sob and sob. Then, look at your eyes. Deep...deep into your eyes. They say so much. Lift up the corners of your lips. A little more. Come on, do it. See?
Crack a little smile. Stick your tongue out at yourself. Roll your eyes. See that sparkle in those eyes? It's still there. It's just buried deep. Do it again. Stick your tongue out. Smile again. Wrinkle your nose. Make a few more faces. Now laugh. And laugh. Some more. Louder. Louder.
Who cares if someone hears you. You are alive! Alive! YOU CAN FIND YOURSELF. Don't walk away from the mirror yet. If you need to cry some more, do it. Stay and make faces and smile and cry and just think about what you need to do, one step at a time, to do something for YOU.
Baby steps. One step at a time. Each time you pass by a mirror, look in that mirror, into your own eyes and know that deep inside, is that sparkle you once had. It's still there. You can get it back. Now, lift up a corner of your mouth and give a little smile.
YOU ARE IMPORTANT!!
Even if you have nothing tangible or materialistic in the world, you can know that you have the gift of life, give yourself a smile. Look for that little sparkle in your eye.

I suggest that you just take some time and analyze your life. Think about where you are now and what you could do to make it better. I know that I've been there before and when I feel bad; I get in a still place, relax and regroup my thoughts. It gets real busy in my life sometimes and when this happens I try to find a quiet place and read, go home and light some candles, play some relaxing music etc. If you feel that you have walked away from your goals write them out again and take the steps to reach them. Never let our dreams die. When it gets hard, fight harder and you will accomplish all that you set out to do in life. I hope this helps.

oh my god, i felt like that exactly a year ago. where do i start. you feel as if you dont even know what matters to you any more right? I felt like that and started drinking and that helped a little but not a lot. so i started a journal. i never read it though, its hard not to but dont. when you do write in your journal, make sure you find a special place to write in it, and without fail always write in that same place, whether your happy, sad, mad, drunk or whatever. at the end of each month read it. In between those journal times start looking in the mirror more often and talking to your self always helps, sounds crazy but true, you would be amazed at the things you say. stay off of chat lines, cause that will get you down. take walks, really just sit down and write down all the stuff you hardly ever do and do them. you will be amazed how much you learn about your self. if you have anymore questions than you can find me on myspace under wendy ali, hope i could help///wendy

Write a lifes list and try to complete one item a day. It works better than it sounds. I got the idea off of Ellen. Doesn't hurt to try

If your looking you won't find yourself. Get busy, go out , have fun . you will find yourself in the process.

See your doctor.
They've pretty much got a pill for everything.
Pretty soon you wont care that you've forgotten what matters.

That's really easy...stop drinking for one month. I do it often every year or when I feel I need too.
Good luck!
