Auburn is no.2 in AP poll and no.3 in coaches poll this week. They still have some tough games on the schedule with Florida, Georgia and of course Alabama in the season finale. If USC ends the season undefeated and Auburn does the same, it will be interesting which team would be ranked higher. It's a long way to the end of the season and very few games are "sure things". The SEC is so much tougher top to bottom than the Pac 10 it is really hard to believe that Auburn or any other SEC team will make it through the regular season undefeated. If one of them does (and I'm hoping it is Auburn), I think that team belongs in the National Championship game.

Anyone who thinks that the SEC is so much tougher top-to-bottom than the Pac Ten is obviously hasn't seen Kentucky, Vanderbilt, or the two Mississippi schools play.
