I'm afraid you've made a grammatical goof in your second sentence. It's ambiguous, as it looks like you're saying "Their questions" is a person's name, and that this person is the one who answers with bad spelling mistakes; after that it makes no sense at all. (Stop laughing the rest of you!) One of your other correspondents was right: you should have placed a comma after the word "intelligible". Never mind though, no-one - no magazine, newspaper or book written since 1997 seems to be able to use a comma along with words like "and" or "but"; they all put the commas after when they should come before. Before, Before, BEFORE!
Sorry, got a little excited there. The second capital "B" in the "before"s was deliberate, for effect, as imagine was your "soo..." in your sentence.
As for Jessi, hen you better worry about your spelling cuz udderwise no 1's gonna give ya a job!
Goldfish has a good answer, does it work?

I'm relatively new to this site, but I find the majority of the "goofs", as you put it, are due to two issues. First, many of the posters here seem to be native speakers of languages other than English. It is no surprise that English is an extremely difficult language to learn and certainly more so to master, even for those who claim it as their primary language. Second, many of the posters here are very young--and probably younger than they admit. So, there's still hope for them to improve.
There are other factors here, though, in addition to the two above. Unfortunately, there are some here who are just poor writers and/or spellers. Likely, they never did well in these subjects in school and most probably don't really care. The other issue is "computer speak", if you will. Those who were raised in the "email generation" have made abbreviations part of their working language. I still can't bring myself to use them (as I'm an oldie), but I understand them and know what they mean.
I have to agree, as an old grammar snob myself, that I tend to ignore both questions AND answers that are poorly written. I admit it's judgmental, but I don't have time to translate illegible stuff, so I don't.

I am not so concerned with the grammar as the spelling. Some questions are so hard to answer because I have trouble reading the question and yes some of it is deliberate.

How can you ask that when you cannot spell so? And what is a goof? And have you heard of commas?
