Why? The answer is simple child: Corporations wage billions of dollars and help finance our President's war.
I will ruffle some (more) feathers I am most sure, but most conservatives have mastered the skill of defining, or framing, issues in a way that irritates the hell out of me! By consciously and cleverly framing the terms used in the debate, in this case, "Jobs" they define the debate itself by blatantly standing on a pedestal of flag-waving liberty and supposed individualism, claiming left wing thinkers are the moral and principle deficiency in our buckling nation. If the deal looks rough, all they do is pull their ace out...God.
He is on their side after all.

America took a bunch of European jobs after World War II.
The took high tech jobs away from Russia and Japan during the seventies and eighties.
Now they are losing some menial labour oriented jobs to the developing world.
At least we have the option of buying shares in those companies!
Or would YOU rather work for a buck a day?
The alternative is paying three or four times the retail costs you see now.
You want a cheap TV? you got it.
Get used to it, the world is about change, nothing stays the same.
BTW, the Walmart in my city starts people at 15 dollars and hour.
Move to Calgary

It's a matter of Capitalism.
In a free market economy, companies are free to do business with whoever they want, and get services from whatever vendors they want. Whether in-country or out of the country. Republicans generally disfavor excessive controls on business, as do most conservatives, many liberals and most libertarians.
The government should not be responsible for telling companies who they can do business with, based on market capitalism. And even if the federal government decided to regulate capitalism, and impose penalties on some commercial choices, that would be within the purview of Congress, not the executive branch.

I hate to burst your little fantasy land bubble (actually I enjoy it a lot), but if you want to blame somebody for jobs going overseas, blame Democrats. You are obviously slow mentally, so I'll spell it out for you in simple terms.
Democrats support unions.
Unions demand pay that is disproportionate to production. (oops, I used big words, let me say it like this: unions make companies pay $20 an hour for a job that is only worth $5 an hour)
As cost of goods increase (materials, labor, etc.), so does sales price.
As price increases, sales decrease.
As sales decrease, jobs are lost, and companies go out of business.
So, to keep prices low, and therefore keep from going out of business, companies must find ways to lower costs. So, they can pay an American worker $20 for a job that is only worth $5 an hour. Or they can pay a foreign worker $3 an hour, and pay for transporting the goods back to America.
So, the lesson of the day is this: Unions force disproportionately high labor costs. This drives jobs overseas to lower costs. And unions are supported by Democrats. 1 + 1 = democrats and unions are responsible for loosing jobs overseas.

Well son,
there was a time when companies didn't take care of their employees. They didn't get a livable wage and things like benefits. But now unions are destroying American productivity. They hold companies for ransom and leave them no other option to look else where for cheaper labor. does that help my boy??
