Is there a way to capture a video streamed from the youtube.com website so you can watch it anytime from your computer?

I use Bandicam to record and then Bandicut to cut out sections that I don't need after recording.

As far as I know, you can't. BUT if you have a laptop you can always go back to it without needing to download it or connect to the internet. It isn't a very smart way but yeah. You can go to youtube and click on the video you want, after it fully loads don't close that window but hibernate your computer and it will be there when you turn it on again.

To record the video, do it with a camcorder (or what you want to use) and then edit it with video editing software. That's when you upload it.

I just e-mail it to myself, that way I always know where it will be and I can forward it to my friends if they want to see it too.
