While my husband and I were separated (for the 2nd time) with the intent to get a divorce they slept together. We are back together and in counseling I am trying to get over this ....she just had twins ( named one after me) should I confront her? Do you think it will make me feel any better?

Will it change anything, and why did he tell you?
Besides, you were split from him, so what they did was really none of your business. Him being an idiot however should make you reconsider getting back with him, unless you are just as dumb as he is. In which case non of the answers here will help you at all..

How long have you had the masochistic tendencies? You've been seperated twice and he's slept with your sister? Who did he sleep with besides your sister while you were seperated? This guy sounds like my daughter's first husband.

I think she was sharper than you are. When he said I want a seperation. She said sure --Let's make it permenant and filed for divorce. Come to find out he had been messing around on her ever since they married.

If you want to make your relationship work with your sister, you will need to open up to her. She needs to know, you know. This is some serious s--t. Your sister and husband were both wrong to do what they did, even though you were both seperated at the time. Really thats no excuse for sleeping with your sister's husband or ex. I always thought my sisters men were OFF LIMITS! How awkward are the family gatherings going to be with both of them there.

yes you should say something, but don't expect it to change anything. If I would you i would keep her out of the relationship at all cost. Rebuild the trust between you and your husband. Even if you were seperates, she must have no morals or love for you. The twins are not you husbands are they? Be strong and leave her alone!

I'm sorry your sister did that to you. How awful. I would forget getting back together with the husband because once a dog always a dog.

I don't know that you will feel any better. The issue is not just with your sister, it's also with hubby. Have you been able to forgive him?

Sounds like it could be very interesting at the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner tables this year !!!!

I would say talk to her about it just to get off your chest. No matter how much counseling you do get that will always be in the back of your mind. By airing out the main concern could make the transition back with your spouse easier.

Probably should get it out in the open. I think you would have to put it out there to ever get any healing. Keep seeing a counselor & kick your husband real hard for me because he also was really a Jacka** by sleeping with your sister. Your a bigger woman than me to take him back!

Additional....Are those his Twins?????

Apparently knowing this is bothering you. You should talk to her about it and let her know that while you and your husband were seperated that you know they were intimate. Try to control your emotions while speaking to her and just let her know you just had to mention it to her. And hopefully after the two of you talk you can let it go and work with the counselor to move forward.
