I loved the smell of Pine Sol and the smell of white out . I had to stop I felt like I had a drug problem!
It went away after I had my son.

I've had 4 so there have been a few things that I craved the smell of.
I used to make my hubby walk up and down the laundry soap isle at the grocery store with me because I LOVED the smell. I'd also stand with the lid of the washer open and just smell the soap.
With another one of my pregnancies I loved the smell of gasoline.
And my last pregnancy, I loved the smell of dirt.
I've read somewhere that cravings whether they be to eat something or the smell of something means that your body is in need of a certain nutrient. Don't know if it's true or not tho.
:)

I hated the smell of almost everything, when I would come downstairs and smell the cleaning solution we had just used to clean up after our new dog I wanted to puke I had to run right back upstairs..
But I did LOVE the smell of this rose oil that I put in those rings that you put around light bulbs..
Now that I'm not pregnant, I can't stand the smell! Everything that I came into contact with while I was pregnant makes me sick to this day?!?! Weird huh?

During my first pregnancy I loved the smell of laundry detergent. I was always going to the backroom to sniff the soap. We lived in a tiny 2 room apartment at the back of a house and I had to take the clothes to the laundry mat to wash and I even loved doing that because it always smelled so good. I loved grocery shopping just so I could sniff my way down the laundry aisle. I felt a little embarrassed and never really told anyone of my laundry soap fixation. I had 3 other kids and never had a smelling issue with any of them.

Yes..... all 3 of my pregnancies were different smells.
1st---- newspaper and cherry chapstick
2nd --- burnt toast and old coffee
3rd --- warm vhs tape (that smell a vhs tape has when it just comes out of the vcr)
I asked my Dr. about it each time after running blood tests etc. I was told it was ok to smell as much as I wanted but to immediately report any cravings to either eat or smell something potentially dangerous...

Just the opposite: I can't stand the smell of things I used to like and basically any smell makes me feel sick. I do like the smell of coffee though, even though I can't drink any.

Yes, i loved the smell of this candle- it smelled just like fabric softener. But most smells turned me off. I once had to have my husband pull the car over so I could throw up, his air freshener made me so ill.

No, but I did have an aversion to McDonald's. I couldn't go anywhere near a McDonald's when I was pregnant with my twin boys. I'm assuming the two addiction/aversion to certain smells would have a connection...
