ick - it looks to me like a Wolf Spider. I live in PA and see a lot of them here. They hang out mostly outdoors around wooded areas. I have also seen them in warehouses, like at Lowe's and Home Depot. They aren't poisonous like a Brown Recluse but they are big and not as afraid of people as other spiders. They will come at you if you go toward them. Their legs are really jointed looking and it seems like they can sort of spring from one place to another. They are really creepy.

It looks to me like a grass spider. They are every where in Mo. A common grass spider is dark stripped colors so they can blend in w/ surrounding. They are not poisonous but they will bite. They are slightly fuzzy looking also.

possible brown recluse. Don't ever touch it.
Worse case scenerio. A piece of you the size of a pancake could disappear from the meat dissolving poison.

It's too big to be a black widow-besides, they have an hourglass on their underside. I'd say it's a fairly typical garden spider, non venomous...
