i do it from time to time (lets say twice a year) and my face glows after, is like a very very deep exfoliation!.
i wax my whole face, is not that i´m very hairy, is just that afterwards the skin looks and feels like a baby butt

my personal opinion is that the creams are way too harsh on my skin. i tend to avoid harsh chemicals whenever possible. i've used at-home sugar waxes that worked well. doing it by yourself can get a little bit messy, but totally do-able. have you tried threading? i had that done on my eyebrows and it worked very nicely. (this is something you can't do on your own unless you're a professional.) basically, the professional uses a string of thread, holding it a special way to pull the hairs right out. it's amazing... it feels a little uncomfortable but any hair removal technique is somewhat uncomfy.

i do it at home, the thing i learned is, u get better results when u have someone pull the wax off for u(more hair gets pulled off that way) and i do it about every 10 days. in my opinion there's no downside.
another thing i learned today was using Honey, u put it on your face and let it dry. then you just peel it off.

I had my upper lip waxed and a couple of days afterwards I came out in spots where I had been waxed which apparently is normal. I would recommend you have it done professionally

yes..there are lots of problems with face waxing but that would depend on your skin type too..i have combination skin.face wax gives me rashes and ugly spots on the face which fade away after years.now do u really want that??moreover, there is itching.cremes tend to darken trhe skin and also the hair grows back really fast.the hair quality roughens and gets all the more obvious.

You shouldn't get rid of facial hair as it can grow back thicker and begin to look like a man's shadow. If it really worries you you should get it professionally bleached instead.

If your having hair taken off around the neck area you end up with a turkey neck - I've seen it happen. I recommend laser treatment as a less painful and longer lasting alternative.
