Massively less. Sadly, most people never try to exercise or use their freedoms, so they don't realize how many have been lost.

If you never leave your house, why should you care if the road in front of your house is closed off, or even torn up and removed. But those people who were using the road certainly care.

Given the circumstances, we were going to end up less free no matter who was in the White House, because there are too many in this country who are willing to give up freedom for security, despite what Ben Franklin warned us about.

And censorship comes from both sides, not just from the Right. There are way too many on the Left who want you not to say certain words, or read certain books, or watch certain shows.

I think we are much freer under a Republican government...although that perspective can be altered depending on whether that person believes they need to work to accumulate things or think they should just have to pay the way for everybody else. I enjoy hunting, also, and the Bush administration protects my right to bear arms....the list is endless...but I think we are much better off than the critics think!!!

Are Americans really free at all? I know I'm not. But I'm still reasonably priced.
