I love them too. They are really cute and I am always afraid people will step on them so I get them out of the road.

Hehe. I really love snails and have since I was little. I liked it because my sister was scared of them and I used to pick them up and chase her round the garden with them. I also thought it was really sad when people trod on them so I used to pick them up and pretend I was on a snail mission to save them. I think theyre cute and hate when birds eat them - not exactly gentle when they kill them are they. We need a dedicated snail garden, maybe we could set one up. So, no, you are not alone in the world. Unless you were talking about eating snails, in which case...don't be mean _@_%

You're not alone.
I'm not obsessed with snails, nor do I harbor a unique fascination with them, but I do appreciate them as a funny, intruiging creature.
I'm positive there are other people who share your passion - I've found that no matter how strange the hobby or obsession, there's almost certainly someone else who loves the same thing.
Look for groups on yahoo, or do some other internet searches to find others with your same unique passion.
Best of luck!

wouldnt say I love them but I never kill them, i admire their shells, everyone different. At the moment lots of baby ones on leaves, so cute, perfectly formed but could sit on a pin head.

Cpinatsi that's so sweet, I thought our family was the only one to do that, we always get them off the path or off the road outside the house!

Love them to play with and keep as pets or love them as in ...omg those were soo tasty?
They are cute little creatures I suppose oozing through the back garden after a rain.
They are damn tasty too if they are cooked right. A little garlic butter to dip em' in.

Over cook em and they taste like burnt rubberbands
