what do u think is the best thing about being married as opposed to being single?

First of all, I think being in a truly bad marrige is worse than being single. A good marrige on the other hand, gets better with age. The trusts builds, the sex, maybe not as spontaneous and passionate, gets better also. There are fights and bickering but, usually, not about the important stuff. (home, family, money management, etc.) Because of the trust factor. Even boredom or restlessness can be overcome with enough open, honest communication..It takes time, a willingness to be flexible, some effort now and then but, It sure seems worth it to me. Hell, I'm spoiled. :) You asked for happily married people. I am one. Hope you find hundreds more..

The best thing for me being married is that I have found my sole mate and that I never feel alone. If I need to talk he is there. If I am sad we cuddle. Married with children for me is the most wonderful thing in life. I was happy being single but am so much more happy being married...Except when we argue and he won't admit to being wrong.

I love having my best friend next to me when I go to sleep and I love waking up with him. I love sharing my life, my thoughts, my happiness and my tears....
Knowing that there is someone I can count on, someone who really cares.
When I was single, I was very happy and content but now I feel fulfilled in a way I would have never been able to if I stayed single. I love my husband with all my heart and I feel as though I have finally arrived in a place of PEACE after walking a path of wondering....

there are pros and cons to both. i was a single mom and a married mom. i prefered being single. i am happily married, but i think i would rather be single again. i didnt have to answer to anyone and could come and go as i pleased. the pro to being married is always having someone there. thats about it, and sharing the bills. again, if you are single you only have yourself to worry about to pay bills and oyu can buy what you want and not have to ask permission. i would rather be sinlge!!!

gee there are so many when you marry such a wonderful man like I did. I think...one of the best things is...you get to share your life and grow old with the one you love. And, just creating so many memories along the way to always have to chat about when you are old and gray.

Being with the person you love the most in the world. Knowing that when you wake up he'll be right next to you, and when you ge home, he'll be waiting for you to just talk and be with each other. Plus you get to share everything with him.

hard to answer..... knowing that you can put your complete trust in someone. knowing that when you wake up in the morning they will still love you regardless of your messy hair or morning breath. knowing that when you need a shoulder to cry on, they are there. knowing that they will do all they can to make you smile. and when you have a little arguement, the make-up time is wonderful. there is nothing like being married. i love it.
