My senior year in high school, ( recently) I won runner up for homecoming but I didn't get a crown? I really want one because I never had one and they are so fascinating! And I didn't even celebrate my Sweet 16 the way a girl should. I was suppose to have a big party with a gorgeous gown with a tiara and sash but never got it. So I just want something to make me feel special.

Dear Heart, I hope someone is generous enough to "donate" a tiara to you. I believe someone who is runner-up should get something that would last and if the person got to that level, it means she has potential and also charisma. Alas there can only be one winner and she is the one who gets the tiara. You should feel special just the same, it's just the way it is done dear heart.
Please if there is a "Queen " somewhere who has had enough of playing the game and wants to share in the glory; let this person know how it is to be the one with the crown, and perhaps, this person will acquire more self-appreciation, self-worth and self-evaluation. Having the crown or tiara is not always a bed of roses, right ?

yeah, we gave my daughter beauty pagent tiarra to a little girl down the street, biker child. You can buy one at a bridal shop or even in the bridal section of a hobby shop.
