The same wet suit or dry suit that divers and surfers use to insulate their bodies from cold water can be used to insulate them from hot water. If the water is so hot that it would damage any exposed body parts, then a complete diving suit with good insulation and probably also active cooling would be needed.

Water from hydrothermal vents can reach temperatures around 400 degrees C.
