No but you have to admit if someone farted one person would leave and the 'awkward silence' would really be over!

I'd only do it with someone that I feel is very close to me (a good friend for example) and that I know would laugh his/her head off if I farted. I of course woudn't do it with someone I've just met.

Well, maybe she would laugh. Then I could tell my kids that your mom was all wierded out when I first met her, so I farted then we fell in love, and I procreated, and only god knows why.
