My car just broke down and I had to walk 5 miles home,I had some people offer to take me home on the way,but I was too scared to get in the car-Have you ever ben brave enough to hitchhike?Did everything turn out all right,or did you have a bad experiance with it?

YEARS ago...bf and I went to the mountains with his truck for a picnic...truck got stuck in the mud ...and big time...no way to get it outta there and this was before cell phones...sooooo we had to hike down a mountainside and then we hitched our way back home (20 miles)...walked about 5 miles when we finally got a ride...then had to get a towing company back up that mountain to tow the truck outta there...what a flippin experience that was.
Sorry to hear that happened to you today - here's to a better one tomorrow. You were wise not to get in anyone's car in this day and age - you just never know.

i have hitchhiked. I have picked up hitchhikers and one turned out to be a guy just released from jail, but Im a big dude and people dont eff with me.

Yes; but, only for short distances. And yes, I think I am in tact for the most part.
