Can we really blame them for our short comings? We blamed the Japanese in the 90's and the blacks in the 60's! At what point do we stop being cry babies and learn to compete in this world's economy?

I wanna here both sides of the arguement!

No one is blaming just them...... but have started with an issue than can be rectified easier than balancing the national debt. These folks have came to our country looking for something their country did not have or offer. In the mean time, most do not pay taxes but our tax dollars are used for their medical plans, public assistance and schooling their children. Our schools are over crowded and if we ask for more schools and teachers our taxes go up. If folks want to come here to work, then please follow the laws of our country just like we have to. I know a lady of Spanish descent that works all the odd jobs she can get. She lives very modestly but receives public assistance. Her house was robbed a few weeks ago and she was devastated because the thieves made off with over $50,000. When she relayed the story to me I asked her why she had all this money in her home and she replied that she planned to work tow more years and then go home to Mexico and live like a queen. While she makes off without paying taxes and I have helped to educate her children and feed her family while they are here, what do I get out of this? Higher taxes!

Who do you think you are? First of all this country belonged to the Indians. Don't you think they are saying the same thing you are saying? Hello???

Well America is a free country with that comes people from different backgrounds and all the good and the bad stuff that comes with it. Who says we have to blame the immigrants? Immigrants are the ones that built this country. I think this is a great opportunity for everyone to embrace races and do the best we can to make it one happy world. There is no such thing as "Utopia" We the people need to make this world a better place by not blaming the immigrants. we immigrants work probebly harder since we were not given everything!!! we had hard lives before we came here.

It's not really. It happens because they are the easiest people to blame. They won't say anything about the slander because most of them are illegal and don't want to stand out in the crowd. Everybody contributes to the social and economic problems of a country. Besides, wasn't everyone's family immigrants at one time?
