Violence begets violence.

If anyone kills the pope, Muslims will most likely face retaliation and a physical object (not a person who is the nominal leader of a church) will surely get destroyed in the ensuing disaster.

think the pope’s comment to ISLAM is very hypocritical. How can he state that the Muslim religion is violent? Did he forget about the Catholic inquisition? Where thousands and thousands of people where killed in the name of religion? It doesn't make it less violent because it happened years ago. The Catholic Church has a very bloody past. Perhaps you should look at the history of it before jumping to conclusions. I'm not Islam, or catholic.

On a side note: Islam itself is not forging a jihad over Catholics, just groups. You cannot condemn a religion over the actions of a few stray sheep. If you do that, then you are breaking one of Christianities valued principles, which is do not judge thy neighbor.

Below is a little history of the people murdered under the inquisition:

"Among the innumerable victims of the Inquisition were such famous people as the philosopher Giordano Bruno, Galileo, Joan of Arc, and the religious order of knights called the Templar’s. The institution and its excesses have been an embarrassment to many modern Christians. In anti-Catholic and antireligious polemics since the Enlightenment (for example, Voltaire's Candide), the Inquisition has been cited as a prime example of what is thought to be the barbarism of the Middle Ages. In its day there was some popular sympathy for the Inquisition. Some saw it as a political and economic tool, others, as a necessary defense for religious belief. Nevertheless, despite all efforts at understanding the institution in the light of social, political, religious, and ideological factors, today the Inquisition is generally admitted to belong to the darker side of Christian history."

Do you know if you hired a crop duster and sprayed all of the Muslim communities with bacon bits they would all go to hell? They all think if they are touched with pork or eat it they will go to hell. Come on people end the war with bacon. So much for that yes there would be serious problems. They are saying that their sensitivities are hurt but yet they are allowed to burn flags, attack Christians, kill innocents, and declare open war in the name of their moon religion. Following their Mohammad that had a nine year old girl for a wife. He consummated his marriage to this little nine year old. He was a thief and a murderer, what more do you expect from his followers. I make no apology for what I say. They can kiss where the sun doesn't shine.

I am telling you these people are nuts, they behead people, blow people up, commit suicide, cause destruction, and they get incensed over a few cartoons and words the pope said, how stupid is that, they are a*s backwards, they should be incensed over the atrocities that are committed in the name of their religion. Now that is something to get up set about, but do they, NO, they get upset over words and cartoons. And the Muslims in the United States are no better, they do not speak out against the radicals, they keep silent on every thing. They should be marching in the streets against the radicals, but they stay silent, that is why I think they agree with the radicals.

I really don't think they care. To be completely honest, I don't disagree with them being angry. What the pope said was just flat out insensitive.
