Well, offhand I can think of three reasons:
1. It was certainly posted in the wrong category
2. Your question concerned a VERY controversial subject, one that people are fighting about and have even killed over.
3. Some people simply have rude natures.

Just asked a question? "Do you have the time?" is just a question. Your question was anything but that. You were just baiting people. Did you honestly expect someone to answer your question without being rude?

Perhaps it's because your 'question' was extremely rude and a thinly-veiled insult. If you're rude to others, you shouldn't be too surprised when they respond in kind, especially since you seem to take such delight in your immaturity.
If you really want serious answers (doubtful; you seem to enjoy stirring up trouble) then I suggest you rephrase your question and post it in the appropriate place.

Your question was judgmental and RUDE. Calling women dumb, stupid and crazy over their personal CHOICE is not the best way to ask a question.
Also, you ask the question in the WRONG category... like you did this one.
