Contrary to popular belief Lactic Acid is NOT the cause for cramps. In fact, Exercise causes a buildup of LACTATE in your muscles, not Lactic Acid. Lactic Acid cannot actual be formed in human tissues under normal conditions.
Cramps are caused by either a lack of oxygenation or a lack of water and/or salt. Take deeper breathes and consume more water and salt.

cramp or stitch is from shallow breathing, you breathe usually through the diaphragm and when you breathe shallowly through your stomach the lack of oxygen makes the muscle in your diaphragm tighten, hence the cramp
muscle cramp is due to lack of stretching, muscle fatigue, high temparatures, dehydration and loss of salts

Hello, how are you? When you jog you most likely get cramps because you did not stretch before this strenuous excercise. When yo stretch you wake your muscles up and allow them to gradually recieve energy. hope I helped,
Bye!
