I really like this name and I just wanted to see other peoples opinion on it. Might name my baby this if it turns out to be a boy.

I would sooner name him Frenchman. The Romans don't exist any more. I have only heard of one other person with that name. Roman Gabriel. He was a professional football quarterback. He played for the Rams and then the Eagles.

My sister had a friend named Roman and every time she would talk about him, I'd say "Roman candle." lol The name sounds fine though.

I like that name Roman, thats my brothers name. My mom wanted to give my brothers and sisters unique names and that where she came up with Roman..lol.other than that i dont know anyone with that name.

I'm not crazy about it. I think he could be teased with a name like that. Roman soldier? Roman or No man? There could be problems. Choose a name that would look good on a college or job application.

Name him after someone that in your opinion, could be a good role model for your child and then talk about that person with your child. Try to give his life as an example for you kind.

It's a nice name, but to be honest, it doens't matter what I think or what anyone else thinks. If YOU like the name, then that's all that matters.
