Quality or quackery?

I've had problems with my back for many years that doctors could do nothing for; except feed me pills. After hearing a former race car driver's testimony that chiropractic care helped him when doctors couldn't, I decided to check into it. I found one that was on a hospital board of advisers. My back got straightened out and I haven't had to take any pills. It can be quality if you get the right chiropractor. I've had a few that I felt were quacks, but all-in-all I feel they are good.

I have been to a number of Chiropractic doctors over the years. I have low back problems. The quality depends on the person preforming his or her talents or lack of there abilities. I have found some Chiropractic to be very helpful and some to be a waste of money. My Mom goes to a Chiropractic Doctor and it helps her tremendously.

I say quality. It helped my husband with his severe back pains, my daughter with her bad periods, me with my headaches and sleeplessness and my grandson when he was just 2 didn't have to have tubes put in his ears because the ear infections stopped after he was realigned.
A good chiropractor starts you out weekly then begins to spread them out to maybe 3 or 4 times a year as needed. It depends on how well you keep the alignment.

Quality! I have a mild case of scoliosis which is like a curve in the spine. My chiropractor really helped. Its not painfull at all. You can go for a consultation and if you don't like what you hear, dont come back. But let him/her explain everything to you.

Both of my parents have been going to a chiropractor for over 20 years, and it seems to help them greatly. They each have a history of back trouble on both sides of the family (yeah, that doth not bode well for me) but they're in their '60's, are still fairly active, and are not looking at back surgery anywhere in the near or far future. All my grandparents had back surgery by their '60's, so...

I think it is a quality thing.

I see so many people who have to continue to go after getting adjusted a few times, and end up with headaches and such when they need "realigned"............ which is why I have never gone even though I desperately need to.

It's a quality for short term fix, but not for long term. You have to go every month to feel better. The problem was not fix in my case. I had to see a DO to find a root cause of my problem and getting it fixed.
