I'm on the Nuva Ring right now and its ok. This is my 2nd month on it and I was a bit worried over the last week or so because I took my ring out last monday and didn't get my period until Friday. So I put a new ring in today and I still am bleeding a bit. Bleeding is a little bit less than not on the ring and the cramps are a bit worse.
You can't feel it inside of you and most of the time neither can your partner. You do have to push it up inside of your vagina so you need to be comfortable with putting your fingers inside of yourself.
Talk to your doctor and make sure you read the literature on the NIH, FDA sites.
Good luck!

i used nuvaring for a year and a half and it was great, it isn't uncomfy, once you put it in you can't feel it and my b/f didn't feel it either. I recently had to stop using nuvaring and switch to pills without estrogen because I have migraines (w/ aura) so I have a high risk of stroke. I'm telling you this because I found out after a long time that estrogen will make it worse, so you should talk to your doctor about what is best for you considering your medical & family medical history. If you are able to use nuvaring, then I recommend it, it was great when I was on it, I'm so disappointed i have to use pills now!

I've been on Nuva Ring for about two years now with no bad side effects. My periods have gradually shortened from about 6 days to now about 3-4 days and they're lighter. When inserted correctly, you should not feel it at all. I think it's great....I was always forgetting to take the pill and had to double up on it and got sick....Nuva Ring is great for people like me who are forgetful, you only have to think about it after three weeks to take it out, then a week later, insert a new one, then three weeks again, etc.

Abstinence - self control. In a marriage situation, whatever the couple agrees to. Why not Yasmin, as in Yasmine Bleeth?
Is that the same thing as the new pill called YAZ? Yasmine too hard to say, too many syllables?
