We only recognize four forces in the universe, gravity, electro-magnetic force, and weak and strong nuclear forces. That doesn't mean that's all there is, not two awfully long ago most people believed there were only four elements, fire, water, air and earth. Maybe someday we will be able to describe all forces by one set of rules, but right now they all behave in their own unique ways.
