Hey! Well reguard less if you join a gym or not you will still need to invest some money. I would recommend for you to do research online or go the library. First ask yourself exactly what you want to work and how much weight you want to lose and what are your goals. After you do so you might have to spend money on food and change your whole diet. As for working out there are plenty of excersices you can do at hime that don't require a machine...running, sit-ups, push-ups, yoga, squats, etc. Good luck and stay motivated remember if it was easy to stay in shape everybody would be in shape, but it's hard and takes determination

Well i think that your weight is great for your height and age, but if you per fer to be thinner than ok! Here is what i would do... 1. Cut down on the sweets! 2. No more fast food, way to greasy and fattening! 3. Work out, try to work out every morning and weigh yourself every Monday so you down go below your goal! 4. Eat some salads, veggies, fruits and maybe some smoothies! Healthy, and delicious! 5. Try to stop drinking soda. 6. Don't go to as many restaurants or bars. 7. Give yourself a break every once in a while! Eat only ONE un healthy snack, so you can just get some sugar into your system! Hope I helped! =]

I was in a similar situation. I just cut out processed sugars (candy, sodas, white breads and white pastas) along with any other junk food (fast food, chips, cookies, etc.). I have been eating only whole foods with emphasis of vegetables, lean meats (fish, turkey, chicken), fruit and whole grains. I have also cut down my portion sizes (I get my normal serving and then put a little back). I drink only water and tea. By doing this alone I have lost 8 pounds in a little over a month, and my grocery bills are way less! try it! also, try doing some isolated excercies a few times a week (crunches, lunges, push ups, etc) to build up lean muscle and go on a few weekly walks, jogs or bike rides for easy, free cardio!

Walk! Take a walk (at least 1 mile) with a friend every night. You don't have to buy anything fancy, just a comfy pair of shoes. Plus, if you go with a friend, you can talk and laugh and it doesn't feel like work at all, unlike some other exercise routines. Plus, instead of snacking on junk food during the day, try healthy snacks like trail mix, dried fruit, and fresh fruit and veggies. Drink lots of water. it gives you the sensation of being full without any fat or calories. Whatever you do, don't skip meals.

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

weight watchers is a good choice, if you are willing to "stick with" the plan.
if you are not willing to invest any money at all
I think a healthy diet, low fat, high protein, fruits (limited) and vegetables.
try susan powters..stop the insanity....it's great!... you only really have to pay for the price of a cheap calculator and one of her first books....amazon perhaps..used... a few bucks...

Here's the big secret.... Don't eat so much!!! Eat balanced meals and excesses. Don't eat junk food and drink plenty of water. Don't forget to take vitamin supplements (with your meals). The weight will come off sooner than you think. The key is to stay disciplined... Stick with it!!! I promise this will work!!!
