It could be something called Braxton Hicks contractions. They aren't serious, they are practice contractions, but if you are experiencing them this early in pregnancy you could go into pre-term labor. I agree, check with your doctor as soon as possible. Call and talk to the nurse and get in SOON.

Twinges are normal during pregnancy, but cramping is something you might want to contact your OB or midwife about - especially if you have any bleeding associated with it. As your uterus expands with the growing baby, ligaments attached to the uterus are stretching which can cause these twinges. Cramping however is more related to contractions from the uterus and should be checked out.

I agree with "mama", I am 13 weeks pregnant. If it is pulling, not cramping, I had it with all three of my pregnancies. was told by the doctor that it is just muscles and ligaments stretching.

Very normal:) I had this feeling with all my pregnancies. It's just your ligaments and muscles stretching. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and still get it. But it started at about 8 weeks.

Plain and simple, this one sounds like you need to give the nurse or a doctor a call. Could be absolutely nothing, could be something else. Never hurts to call.

normal for this stage of pregnancy, but if doesn't go away pretty soon, check with your doctor, by all means.
