There was a memorial service last Saturday 16/09 on itv1 but it was just his tribute to television shows not a memorial memorial service as such, i believe we will not be getting to see it as i read something about that as he basically didn't contribute enough to British television to deserve one. I think its rotten as he made animal documetarys interesting which people like David Attenburgh can't. It is such a damn waste someone so talented and done some dangerous things and get killed not by his beloved crocs and alligators but a fish it is unbelievable and i am still in shock.

With due respect, his family are too consumed with grief to understand that the whole world mourns with them and will like to be with them when they commit this great naturalist to mother earth. Steve was never private in live. He was a man who taught the world about the nature of animals in his own unique entertaining way. Even though his funeral is not public i hope the family will let us his fans pay our respects by showing highlight of his funeral in the media channels or a website that we can pay to watch his funeral; With the proceeds going to Australias zoo of course.
