The boat weighs 400lbs unloaded and I think I'll be alright with th 2 stroke tiller handle motor that I purchased. What do you think?
The WeldBuilt boat is cammo and will have a 71lb thrust motor guide trolling motor foot drive.

Sounds like a well balance rig. The trolling motor is a bit much but hey. Nice, fully loaded you should get better than 30mph. Get the longer tiller and stand while operating as to give you a better sense of were the bow is. Depending on what degree the bottom is, I don't think yaw will be to much of a factor. I would go with a (10.75 X 12) 3 blade stainless prop, to whom it may concern.

Not sure you'll get 30 MPH out of a 50HP on an 18' boat (depends on the prop pitch) and with that kind of weight on a somewhat narrow boat, I'd be worried about porpoising (high bow and not planing properly). Don't try to race the big boys and don't try to pull a skier and you should be fine.
