yeah i would try the lightening cream. also there is this stuff called lip appeal. It is sold online through beauti control and it flakes off all the unwanted skin on lips and around lips which may help. it also makes all the vertical lines on your lips go away and makes em smoother! Try Ambi or Palmer's skin lightening cream every day for several weeks; you can get it from a drug store or from a beauty supply store.
