Are cartoons of today better than that of the 80's and 90's? I consider the cartoons of the 80's and 90's as great, but the visuals were lacking. Today's cartoons are so much better visually and the storylines are more insync with as compared to the 80's and 90's that what happened on yesterdays episode most of the time had very little to do with today's episode.

Plotlines and visuals aside, which do you perfer

I miss the silly antics of Bugs Bunny and Rocky and Bullwinkle. There are a FEW newer cartoons that I enjoy, but then again..I like silly things and shows that are random and make little sense. Doesn't matter about visuals. And silly shows shouldn't have a huge plot.

I might not be that old, but I would rather watch older cartoons than most newer cartoons.

I personally beleive that the cartoons of the 80's and 90's will always be great, they suited the time. However, some of the cartoons that are out now go overboard and are a little mature. I beleive that children now would enjoy the same shows that we watched as a child even now.

truthfully the ninety`s, early 2000`s, and earlier that. Disney actual had notably epic cartoons in that factor. The humorous ones have been great, had humorous moments for sons and daughters, and a few very diffused grownup jokes hidden for the older audiences. heavily, bypass back and watch some, you will crack up at what you probably did no longer get then. Then there have been ones that actual taught sturdy existence training, mutually as nevertheless being humorous and sturdy, like Rugrats, Doug, Pelswik, and howdy Arnold (dang, I omit those shows...). those shows have been great for displaying the thank you to handle others, to continuously be a great person, and that no longer something is impossible in case you have acontinual to end it. those are issues that desperately could desire to be positioned back in cartoons those days. Too a lot of human beings act the choice. Then the action toons have been something candy. Dragon Ball (Z and GT coated), S.W.A.T. Kats, little ones around the corner, and Samurai Jack (carry IT back ALREADY) have been purely epicly awsome. that they had great storytelling, character progression, and pacing.

I enjoyed Justice League,Superman and Batman... Depends on what cartoons your talking about ... The ones on Cartoon Network are too lame to watch.
But the 80's and some 90's are still great to watch .
